When should a a Serenis Safety audit be carried out?

• Mandatory: your installation is not yet in service or the last active energy supply contract is more than three months old (Ministerial Decree no. 2010-530 of 22 October 2010)*.
  
• Voluntary: you wish to have the condition of your indoor installations checked as part of a preventive approach. In the case of premises used for professional purposes, the Serenis Safety audit does not replace the statutory inspections required by Ministerial Decrees no. 63-112 of 29 April 1963 and no. 2018-1079 of 21 November 2018.

* This Decree stipulates in particular that an indoor electricity or gas installation may not be brought back into service after a supply interruption of more than three months unless the future contract holder produces a certificate attesting to the completion of checks on safety points. Inspection points are listed in Ministerial Decree no. 2010-530 of 22 October 2010.

When should a Serenis Compliance audit be carried out?

Mandatory:

Electricity: Your installation is new or has been renovated and is not yet in service, or is supplied with electricity on a temporary basis due to construction or works. The Decree of 14 December 1972 made it mandatory for electrical installations to be checked and certified as compliant. As a result, your low-voltage installation must comply with the current NF C 15-100 standard, compliance being required at the time of construction or total renovation of housing.

Gas: Your installation is new or has been renovated and is not yet in service.

Initial checks on Gas installations shall be carried out according to Ministerial Decree 2018-1079 of 21/11/2018 on regulations relating to the general principles of safety against risks of fire and panic in buildings and are applicable to new buildings.
